AFRICAN WORLD HERITAGE DAY 2021: Celebrating African Arts, Culture and Heritage By May 8, 2021May 23, 2021Uncategorized The 5th of May 2021 marked the sixth edition of African World Heritage Day by the African Union’s (AU) and the theme was tagged: “Arts, culture and heritage: Levers for Building the Africa We Want”. The day is an opportunity for people all around the world, and particularly Africans, to celebrate the vibrant and unique cultural and natural heritage that the Continent of Africa possesses through its communities and people. Unlike other continents around the world¸ Africa has numerous threats ranging from Climate Change, Civil unrest, among other challenges, which is why the day is used to highlight how important Africa is and how its value needs to be protected at all costs. Let’s embrace our way of life, our rich African Culture and our diversity. Africa is Our Motherland. Share
