Nigerians are the single largest contemporary African immigrant group in the United States. In addition, the city of Houston is home to the highest population of Nigerians outside of the country. The Nigeria Cultural Parade led by Culturally Naija and WeLead, will celebrate Nigeria’s 57th Independence. The parade will be held in Downtown Houston starting at the Toyota Center on Saturday, September 30th.  It will serve to promote, and advance the Cultural, Civic, Social, and Economic welfare of Nigerians in Houston. The Parade is expected to attract spectators from various backgrounds and ethnic groups, while featuring participants from across the greater Houston Metro area and surrounding areas.
